Retro Models

New Retro Models Joanna Ashley and Judy O'Day added. Like Alice Denham and Dominique Prevot, the Judy O'Day gallery is just one of many more to come.

Site Redesign

Took longer than expected to handle all the coding but the new features on the site are finished.

The most obvious is that the site is now a subscription service. Given the amount of bandwidth it takes we're eventually going to have to move to a dedicated server - which is very expensive. In order to continue the site needs to have funds. Our services are based on what other vintage sites offer and we attempt to offer more at a lower rate.

Other sites charge for low quality images with watermarks then charge an additional fee for each copy you want without the watermarks on them. The average fee is 5 dollars per unwatermarked picture. We offer higher quality images with less obtrusive watermarks now for a lower monthly charge.

We've added a download section for silver and gold subscribers where you can download 5 or 10 complete galleries, without watermarks, a month. Since the average gallery on the site is 50 images, thats anywhere from 250 to 500 images a month you can have for your use without the watermarks. Eventually we'll offer another level where you can download more than just 10 galleries but first we have to afford a dedicated server.

We've also enabled comments on the individual albums to encourage feed back on which styles of pictures people most like. Over the next year we intend on adding over 20 thousand nude images. The order we release them depends on what you want to see most.

Dominique Prevot

One gallery added to the Retro Nude Models section (since it took longer than normal to sort and repair the pictures). Over 75 different pictures for the lovely Dominique Prevot AKA Misty Donovan. This should be a complete set from this series. More about it below.

It looks easy when the pictures are all lined up, but the sorting of the models and sets are extremely time consuming. When they're sorted it not only gives a better viewing experience but also helps minimize the amount of doubles on the site (with the exception of deliberate doubles as in this set - pictures printed at different times which have been cropped differently - some showing more of the background than others).

When the images aren't labeled in anyway, they have to be sorted first by model. From there they're sorted by the different sessions. With Dominique all the images seem to be from the same photo shoot but with closer examination you notice small things, how her clothes and jewelery change and how the furniture has been rearranged between the different sessions. Many of the pictures had also been printed with reverse negatives and had to be reverted to their proper state. This eye for detail takes a great deal of time but also makes it easier to find where new pictures fit and ensure the set is complete.

As a rule the cut off date for the site is the late 1950s but for a lovely model like this one an exception is made.
